Martial Paths and Intention

The Martial Way, a truly mysterious and abstruse series of paths meant to cultivate one’s way to the peak of all fields. Those who cultivate this doctrine are either in search of eternal life, power, status, or aloofness. Each of which can be identified by their way of practice.  Typically, or at least in the True Yuan Continent, they can be divided as Martial Practitioners, Body Cultivators, Shaolin, Mind Daoist’s, Mages, and a few more.

A Martial Path / Intent is a cumulative understanding of one individual’s perspective of the world and the universe. It is through the knowledge of the rules that govern all things that will allow one to defy those rules, this, in turn, is an act against the heavens, a defiance of the natural order, which is why all who walk the path of an expert and the Martial Way, are subject to trials from the universe. In overcoming these trials, one can advance and transform their existence into higher beings.

They are divided into many ranks and levels such as:

  1. Rank-less Martial Paths / Intent - the Sword Path, Blade Path, the Shadow Path, the Devouring Path, etc...
  2. Top Rank Martial Paths / Intent - the Space Path, Time Path, etc...
  3. High Ranked Martial Paths / Intent - the Lightning Path, and Light Path, Fused Element Paths, etc...
  4. Lower-Ranked Martial Paths / Intent - the Fire Path, Water Path, Wood Path, Wind Path, Metal Path and Earth Path, etc...

Each of these Martial Intent art divided into three stages, and once one achieves mastery of each stage, they will acquire a special power field known as an Intent Domain and accompanying increase in Battle Prestige. They are classed as below:

  1. Rank-less Martial Paths / Intent
    1. Stage 1: Maximum Battle Prestige - Layer 1 Battle Prestige (Jumping 3 Ranks)
    2. Stage 2: Maximum Battle Prestige - Peak Layer 2 Battle Prestige (Jumping 6 Ranks)
    3. Stage 3: Maximum Battle Prestige - Lower Layer 3 Battle Prestige (Jumping 7 Ranks)
  2. Top Rank Martial Paths / Intent
    1. Stage 1: Maximum Battle Prestige - Layer 1 Battle Prestige (Jumping 3 Ranks)
    2. Stage 2: Maximum Battle Prestige - Peak Layer 2 Battle Prestige (Jumping 6 Ranks)
    3. Stage 3: Maximum Battle Prestige - Lower Layer 3 Battle Prestige (Jumping 7 Ranks)
  3. High Ranked Martial Paths / Intent
    1. Stage 1: Maximum Battle Prestige - Layer 1 Battle Prestige (Jumping 3 Ranks)
    2. Stage 2: Maximum Battle Prestige - Layer 2 Battle Prestige (Jumping 4 Ranks)
    3. Stage 3: Maximum Battle Prestige - Peak Layer 2 Battle Prestige (Jumping 6 Ranks)
  4. Lower-Ranked Martial Paths / Intent
    1. Stage 1: Maximum Battle Prestige - +1 Battle Prestige (Jumping 1 Ranks)
    2. Stage 2: Maximum Battle Prestige - +2 Battle Prestige (Jumping 2 Ranks)
    3. Stage 3: Maximum Battle Prestige - Layer 1 Battle Prestige (Jumping 3 Ranks)

Martial Intent Stages

Each Martial Intent's stage are achieved through different mastery degrees, shown by percentages, each of which will determine the power and talent a practitioner. These percentages are as follows:

  1. Stage-less - 0 - 29%
  2. Stage 1 - 30% - 59
  3. Stage 2- 60% - 89
  4. Stage 3 - 90% - 99(Pinnacle)
  5. 100% Dao Strand

Martial Dao's and Dao Strands

Beyond Martial Intent mastery, there is the next level known as the Dao, but as each Dao is vast and boundless, a weaker practitioner can only comprehend fragments of its whole, essentially referred to as Dao Strands. They are divided in the same categories as Martial Intents, but their usages and power are vastly different as they can advance and become stronger Dao's depending one's own insights. More details have yet to be uncovered...
